Artist Introduction
When I focus deeply on a thought, I sometimes find myself stepping out of linear time—entering a kind of temporal distortion where clocks don’t exist. In that suspended moment, I begin a game of catch with inspiration that has flown in from somewhere unknown. The sky throws a ball to me. I throw it back. Sometimes, the ball emerges from within me, only to return again. Other times, it flies off into the cosmos.
I believe that the happiness we experience is never singular. Sometimes it’s small and trivial, sometimes instinctual, and other times it exists only in our imagination. I hoped audiences could encounter the hidden layers of happiness within their own lives—and discover new joys along the way.
